~Greetings~

Joyous Wednesday to you. I am now officially on vacation!!!:) Tis a bitter cold morning in Vermont with wind chills in the single numbers. Old Man Winter has wrapped his icy fingers around us to be sure! Today after bundling up & making a quick trip to the post office, I will be working on a special Christmas gift for my sister & then...let the wrapping begin!!!!! Spaghetti & meatballs for dinner this evening. Wishing you a joyous day...stay warm!!

Winter came down to our home one night
Quietly pirouetting in on silvery-toed slippers of snow,
And we, we were children once again.
~Bill Morgan, Jr

Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home. ~Edith Sitwell

~CatchPenny Village Collection & Sneak Peeks~

Good morning. It is another amazing morning here....sunny, breezy and warm.. PERFECT! I will be heading out in just a bit to our annual town wide yard sales......:)oh how I love a good yard sale...you just never know the treasure you may find!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had an order request for Mother Midnight's Dwelling".....AND.....I realized that I did not say in my description that YES....., I will be taking a limited number of orders for the homes in the "CatchPenny Village Collection"...I just hate it when I forget to add important information like that..argh..drives me nuts!
These dwellings are so much fun to make..I'm working on another one that I will be offering on the 1st of the month...I would like to have this one open up...with a scene inside......we shall see if that works out for me :)...you just never know!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And..here are a couple of sneak peeks of what I'm working on right now...for the 15th of the month offerings;
This piece I actually finished yesterday and I just LOVE it.

And here is a new doll.....she's not revealed herself to me just yet...so I'm not exactly sure who she's going to be.....I'm going to work on her a little later...so I'm hoping she let's me know!

Alright..must run now and get to those yard sales before all the good stuff is snatched up. Have a fantastic day everyone :)

SO glad you're back to blogland, I sure missed seeing your creations and hearing your stories. I hope the labels are a hit, they sure are cute. I've been sewing like crazy and hope to have quite a "stockpile" when we make the switch to fall/Halloween (which is my favorite). I've heard that fall is just beautiful in Vermont. Have a great week, Dawn
